For the World Cup 2014, PLUS Retail succesfully launched it’s campaign “Toi Toi Tooi”. Festive Feathers in the Dutch & Orange colours could be collected at all PLUS retail stores during the World Cup month of June. They were put into a head plumage or used as a trendy fashion accessory (in ears, necklace, or as a skirt). The campaign was supported by famous celebrity (and feather icon) Gerard Joling with his popular hitsong: Rio de Janeiro. An army of feathered ‘Toi Toi Tooi’ babes created a true buzz in stadion De Kuip in the run-up to the World Cup in Brazil. Arriving in an original Orange team bus they stirred up the crowd.
